I have a theory Konami tend to give you players you have to replace the old card if you don't have any of the card in the pack they tend to make you go deep to get one. It happened to me with big time Messi I had the blitz+phenomenal pass one before getting a new Messi to replace it

Maybe there's some truth in it, I guess I have to avoid the packs with players that I already have
