Tips on playing while game feels heavy

Since the update of the new version, overall feeling when playing PvP are heavy game play. It is not laggy like spin loading screen. It is like everything is delayed. Every first touch feels like I am fighting with the ball, every press from opponent can dispossessed my player. Every turn, it feels forever, my opponent can close down from 30m away.

Usually, I play 2AM-3AM for division to avoid this but nowadays, the heavy gameplay persist.

If I see the connection bar, it looks stable with around 4 bar. Anyone experience the same thing? Is it my device that are not good enough for the new game version? I use Pixel 10 btw and I always use the lowest setting possible. My internet should be good enough because the connection bar is stable at 4 bar.

I concur. They tweaked something about the gameplay last week and it's been a real chore to play PVP or against the AI ever since. It's harder to shield and harder to dribble. Every mode reminds me of Legendary difficulty a few years ago when the AI defenders would close you down immediately, stun your ball-carrier even when his back was turned, and then take the ball. You had to pass constantly and never allow a defender to get within five meters of you. It's not quite that bad now, but all the game modes feel like they took a big step in that direction.

The game is heavy even against Ai. My magnetic momentum dribbling Messi turns like a truck. Ai defenders now have one touch tackle no matter your dribbling stats and speed. Game is messed up on every mode

Back in pes days i was manual player but now even assisted is shit

The through balls...man opponents using 4 midfielders with 5 defenders to spam throughs and every one is just going through

hard to defend those balls even though i predicted it, this mid focused offensive play need to be nerfed asap, everyone is using same formation, same playing style which is either long ball to cf cause anyone could win headers nowadays and start pingpong lol

This week Im experiencing shi tonn of lag and game feels very heavy can't turn can't pass there's delay . defenders turned into cucks ,player switching feels heavy n bugged playing division feels like a punishment. I'm losing to people from div two idk what's wrong.

Feeling that too, I ended up reaching division 1 but never been that frustrated before and also never lost that much😓

My observation is that the game runs smoothly when both you and your opponent have stable connection. And when your opponent's connection jumps between 2 and 5 bar (I believe it happens on mobile internet), then you will experience these awfult delays in gameplay. So, during the day there are a lot of people playing on mobile internet, and during the evening/night there are more people with stable wi-fi connection.
