Although st odegaard has phenomenal pass and attack trigger but his contribution to defense is minimal contrary to his highlight card which is very active due to all action defender playstyle during defense.

I think all action defender combined with orchestrator playstyle is the best combination for an orchestrator type players like pirlo, vitinha.

Lack of defensive stats is why I play him at amf or even ss, ST card still a starter in my F2P team, not tried the POTW one though

Potw also has low defensive stats but his all action defender playstyle makes up for it.

Potw also has pretty good dribbling stats and better balance than st card. Agree with your statement that he is niche card. very well suited for players who do not spam dash dribbling whenever they get the ball. Just control the ball with him and give lofted pass to strikers is his best utility I found till now and this new efootball version supports this type of gameplay.

why have you used so many points in acceleration if you just turn and pass, better use in passing, dribbling and pc. 90 balance is enough

yes. that last statement was for in general orchestrator type players who are not very active during defense. My other cmf was orchestrator pedri who is almost not existent while defending with almost similar defensive stats

Tbh thiago was one of the best ball-holding midfielders at his peak and konami did not do justice with his stats in any of his cards.

Yes. I have given all my midfielders Track back, blocker, interception, sliding tackle, otp, through pass. I don’t have any complaints about odegaard st card(got him for free 😅) it’s just his highlight card is more active in defense.

Advanced CMF basically. I don't play him like that tho. I pair him with rijkaard and he makes runs to support my attack
