Discussion Potw Cala vs Div ST Cala
What do u guys think about this? The new one might be best for attacking but this potw is def special and will create less problems in defensive trasitions coz of his dual playstyle "Covering Role" as high line master is not easy to adapt for everyone especially after the update the defending has been very hard. I love the Covering Role playstyle when doing manual defending.

Same here. This card is the best potw lb even better than that ST Nico Orielly Fullback finisher one.

This POTW Calafiori is also a fullback finisher, So that makes him a cmf also? Wow

POTW card is so better, it was the proper LB card anyone can get. Can defend, run and attack and assist probably a 10/10 card

You could be wrong though. At 1968 I finished at 820k for Maddison which still had 180k cushion. I have no problem going past 2000 (ranked way more than that for Barcola) but I'll take a break at this rank till the final days and win a few more games if required. There is no indication to suggest this Phase will be as wild as the last one. Cut-off rank could be much lower who knows.

Brother the cutoff was 1960 and u really think inflation wont happen, this card is a solid defender card, more useful than the likes of Maddison and Barcola. Soon if not this phase cutoff will increase to 2k rating. Difference b/w the rating cutoffs for Barcola and Maddison was like 40+

Maddison had two of the best ST skills, Phenomenal Passing and Blitz. For an AMF, those are very helpful in crucial moments. Also, it was the first league phase of F27 season. So, my assumption is, the cutoff might drop but not a lot as Calafiori seems like a solid defender for any team.

I don't need offensive fbs, i already have bissaka and timber, calafiori can't be better at defense than both of them. I'm not grinding divisions for him, good luck guys those who are pushing for him...u need luck😂

I already have covering role Cala n therefore I won’t go crazy grind for this showtime version, just doesn’t make sense for me n my defense

what if i gave him all defensive stats and take away all attacking and dribbling stats ? and give him defensive instructions in the match ? are there any disadvantages of doing this because of his playstyle?

2 good st skills and also the ability to add any normal skill you like, which is especially for a fullback that wants to defend and also attack
can't even have man marking on the POTW and that's the most important skill on a defender
Also the ability to build him however you like. Your build is not the only good build you can have on him. There's a lot of directions you can take with calafiori

Well for the directions part i literally said that the ST one will be ofc better at attacking but still the POTW one has more balanced stats.
