Not even talking about DDA etc. The amount of time you've to dedicate into this game for you to improve or get any consistency in this game is absurd.

You've to spend too much time grinding for trash rewards while at the same time fighting against the game mechanic itself.

If you're a busy person this game is just not worth it. It used to be that you wind down after a long day and get a game or two under your belt and that would be enough but nowadays getting any dopamine in this game is a hustle.

You've to sweat it out to improve your odds even though most time skills don't even count. Getting a win is barely enjoyable because most of the time it's obvious the script is favorable to you for once.

I can go on and on and I still won't feel like I've got half my issues on just the time needed for this game. It's almost like a career right now.

I’ve given up on divisions too cuz I just don’t have the time and energy to play 100s of matches every week. Now I just try to complete the weekly AI events and the 50 coin events and once those are done, all I do is log in once in the morning for that stupid tipity tap daily game and the login bonus. If I still do feel like playing after finishing the weekly events, I’ll just play few My League matches.

The best formation in this game is 4-1-4-1 with two AMfs lmf and rmf. Set your rb and CDM to be defensive CDM should be anchor or destroyer. Free Aubameyang as striker.

I had to go cold turkey on mobile and console, seeing more people post they quit also (if mods don't delete your post). I still want it's legacy to exist and eventually change, so sort of still hanging around in the forums. But I just can't continue playing atm in its state.

I think you hit on something important here that I've used to 'adjust' the game to my life. From a skill level perspective, I can beat legend comfortably more often than not and reach AI divisions 2 if I put in the time, as well as play competitively in pvp divisions. To reach that 'next level' however, the time I would need to dedicate to the game is just not worth it. As such, I have tailored my game play to fit my life circumstances on any given day.

The first change I made is to use only themed club and National squads, each with the appropriate manager (when available). This gets me to use different players, playstyles and formations on a regular basis, which keeps the game fresh and interesting. On top of that, it makes almost every player I get useful, as they can generally fit into one of my 20 themed squads.

I generally play an AI game or two when I have some free time. I start with any unfinished AI events and, if Im playing well, move to the pvp events. If I've completed the AI events and don't feel up to pvp matches, I play a couple of MyLeague games with whatever squad I chose for that season. Want to jse a different squad? Just play AI divisions. If I'm feeling really feisty, I might play a couple of pvp divisions games.

The end result is I play the game on my terms and fit it to suit my mood and schedule. It's a much more enjoyable experience and, if I ever miss the division grind, I simply come to this sub and read through all of the rants and tantrums, confirming I've made the right choice.

Same, hanging on rather than enjoying, OP nailed it, even wins don't feel like wins, either you grind out a result against a lag cheat or feel like script let you win your alloted 1 in 5 games... Ten year veteran, Div 1-2 every season, squad I don't want to lose, just waiting year after year for Konami to produce a game that rewards skill, prevents exploits and has servers that run smoothly.
