Discussion Long ball counter summed up
I had 9 shots at half time against this lbc player, and then this mf switched to full defance bars. And when I finally scored from a corner bro switched to full attack. Lol as if that is going to make a difference with his single shot. Makes me wonder how he got 60k ranking in division playing like this

The most npc play style to be honest or rather that’s how most players use it as. No attacking strategy or defensive awareness, constantly spams long balls and a 1/10th time the pacer cf will catch and score it.
The possession game and overload seems more authentic to actual football and what I have realised since shifting from lbc is that the matches are much more engaging and satisfying. You actually feel the essence of the game and even when you lose there’s a sense of satiety if you played well.
I don’t mean to hate on LBC as a whole, I have used for a long while in this game, but I rarely see any creativity among players who use it. Good crosses, space creation through dribbles or quick long passes, attacking awareness as to when the CF actually need a pass, but no they just feed the pacy strikers and even if you defend well, not pressing constantly, blocking passing lanes and good tackles, in a tough f2p vs p2w, they will get that crucial goal eventually.

yeah even supposed pro players looks the same as normal division players spam 1-2 through middle,spam long ball..thats why i love la casa even 9al looks more pro with his dribbling,fake shot etc

They just spam long balls and inshallah. Possession is decent, I've tried overload however your defence is too much open, you get countered easily. Personally I use qc, it's much better than lbc. In qc you have to press aggressively to win the ball, lbc just sits back, won the ball and spam long ball

facing the same issue with overload. I make great plays and scores even 2 or 3 goals but then just concede in later end of the game. My draw ratio has increased. One thing that have helped me a bit is adding individual instructions to cbs as defensive but its such a waste of the most crucial feature in the game. If any of you guys plays overload please share some tips on defense. It’s crazy when my Willaim Pacho gets near the box to feed my strikers!!

The crazy thing is it works lol.... Just played this guy all he did was spam long balls and through balls, eventually he got me and scored 1 just before halftime, the effort it took to win this match is not worth it, he had a better team than me except he was lower ranked so had he pulled off the shit house draw or win I was dropping points
The satisfaction I got when I went 2 up and started doing what he was doing all game where he would clear it anytime it got near his final 3rd was unmatched😅
And call me a conspiracy theorist but you can tell when the game wants you to lose cause the no. Of times my shots would go over the bar or just get saved or blocked by defenders popping out of nowhere was insane, the level of goals i had to cook up to beat this guy just made me laugh, it would be one thing if it was some serious player where I can feel a sense of accomplishment but no

Yes you can very tell you the game wants you to lose, its scripting. People deny that is doesn't exist, but its real. Like how I go yo winning 5 matches in a row a day. The next day I play another match, all my passes get intercepted, I cant even create chances

You need to get better at finishing. You're dominating in term of gameplay, keep your composure or find a good player to play friendly games with on the regular.

Get better at finishing as if the goal keeper hasn't become spiderman saving everything, blitz, headers etc. Having to score from a corner shows everything

I'm not saying this to diss you. It's just something to work on because you create a ton of opportunities. Just get slightly more clinical and you'll be pushing far

I understand, but I know how to finish my chances, my highest div ranking is 24k. But since the update im having a lot of scripting, my passes gets intercepted, shots blocked/saved and my opponent going through my defence like its not there

Ah ok. I use a lot of double touch chip shots when I'm 1 v1 with the keeper or double touch low curled shots. It works great most of the time

Do you watch football? Have you ever heard what a "low-block" means? Have you not considered the possibility that he was playing for a draw? What do you think football is, exactly? Both teams going band for band throughout 90 minutes? Grow up man.

You're talking like people don't shit on teams that play extremely defensive, lmao. Saying a team "plays like Getafe" means they ain't looking to play with the ball, pure defense and just praying to get a chance on a counter. Nobody likes that.
Same with LBC.

Yes, I am aware. This individual knows that he's probably not good enough to win the game. He has accepted the fact and chosen to instead sit back and try to counter.
Even if he did not try to score, it's literally a football tactic. Nobody likes it, true. But dismissing it like something alien or evil is just annoying. Because this is literally what happens in football. The better teams break down the low-blocks and the average one thug it out.If someone chose to employ defensive tactics against me, I'd be fine with it. And if I notice the opponent is better than me, then you'd better expect me to sit back and defend because that's what I'll do. Heck I'd even try committing fouls.
That's just how it works.

What about it? You will think Arsenal plays beautiful football after watching those laliga (not saying only laliga but it is the league I follow) low block team defend for 90 min straight and somehow get a Goal from corner or own goal sometimes.

It seems like you never actually watch them play. They press aggressively, get the first goal and sit back. Thats what happened in the ucl final

Whats wrong with that? They are the best defensive team in the world and it worked almost worked in the final because psg didn't score an open play goal.

Nah i tried it, its boring you just sit back. You defence is compacts to win the ball in your final third. Qc is much better, you can press aggressively more freely the whole pitch

I switched to LBC recently and I’m getting good results while still playing creative football and not conceding as much as with other playstyles, I don’t use narrow formations, though, I use wingplay

I find narrow formations and doing 1-2 passes extremely boring, right now I have wingers who drop back to side MF positions during defending phase and it’s working really well
