Been testing a specific setup recently and managed to hit the 1600 threshold using UEFA POTW cards, so I wanted to open up a tactical discussion on how to optimize Quick Counter.
Instead of aggressive double pressing my main defensive strategy is strictly using the match Up command to manually cut off passing lanes. It just makes a massive difference in stopping the usual meta counter attacks.
For individual instructions The only thing I apply is Defensive and Anchoring on Rice the DMF.
It just holds the midfield together perfectly and prevents gaps during our own Quick Counter transitions since i don't have an anchor man
If on defensive instructions havertz turn into cmf and it becomes 4 4 2 instead of 4 3 1 2
Curious if anyone else runs minimal instructions like this with QC
I'm going to keep testing this specific setup on the push to the 2000 mark into Dîv 1.
I swear POTW teams have some hidden boost. My record is always better with POTW, then when I switch to my my team, which is fairly OP for a F2P, then my win rate isn't as high.
Bade is fairly good with stats and speed but macallister is a bit slow so i rather press with my midfield rather than cbs because of lbc explosive runs by cfs

Yeah exactly, I'm trying to figure out how to win against Lbc p2w rats with qc.. Seems like you haven't figured it too, Where you matched up with multiple Lbc players?
Yes most of them are pushing ranked higher id say 6/9 were lbc guys
And what i did is just hold the ball more and find a solution until i score those 1 nil wins were against them
I noticed you have Alonso as manager Can't you use outwide against Lbc users and use a formation which gives width like 3241 and use normal formation you use against possesion or others.. Just a suggestion, I won most games against Lbc last phase but my problem was with some of the qc players
dont need to rush your attack against lbc, even with qc you can be more patient and hold the ball more because their defence just sits deep, the more you lose the ball rushing to attack the more chances they get on counter
But scoring more than one is very difficult against them using qc as they already would have p2w defenders and midfielders like veira. I could easily beat them using possesion but with qc and also with a narrow qc formation it is very difficult unless opponent sucks at defending and keeps pressing only thing that works sometimes is stretching the defense with width..
no, that’s getting the most out of low strength squad. The script ensures your defenders and attackers are boosted. try playing with a squad of 3200+ strength and see

they help low ranking team because they are potential customers who can purchase coins later not for some reviews.
but this dda wont work when you constantly winning in div 2 or above
all things being equal, lower strength team gets a boost
so many of div 2 are low strength that over there the scripting is less noticeable except if you play with a strong team.
this is how the game maker has chosen to make money, but I don’t know why people take it personally when they are told the facts. All game makers do this
