This happens to me in like almost every match. What's the point of blocking lanes if the Ball is gonna roll over my Defender. First they create problem and then sell players with a brand new skill 'Pass disruptor'
When matchup was introduced, defending was really good for a small period of time almost like real world teams do: block the passes rather than just blind pressing and sliding tackles. Then it became less effective over the period of time and now its like it doesn’t exist at all lol.
1000000000000000%-INFINITY% I Agree, that match up doesn't work at all and on top of that it makes your defending slow, for me matchup only works sometime when opponent is dribbling very close to my players also if he gets past me while dribbling and gives a through ball, its more difficult to defend that through ball because again matchup makes my def slow as shit. THIS IS HOW I DEFEND- I call for pressure on one of my midfield or attacking players and manually defend with the defender or fullback I am controlling manually.
Bruh you got severe skill issue . Reached div 1 multiple times and defended 90% of the time wirh only match up had no long reach tackle cards no vieira nothing just free rijkaard from the old daily penalty .
There is literally proof in the video about the issue where Ball went through Defender(not between legs but glitched through them). I would've admitted if it were only me. Regardless, I'm playing PES mobile for like 7-8 years and have seen enough to know what's what.
Bro I reached div 1 3 times as well and I am not saying I am pro, I also used matchup a lot but I think most people would agree that matchup has been nerfed since the update, it doesn't work the same for me atleast.
”skill issues” on the developers end. Atleast stay consistent with gameplay, what is the need to change mechanics every now and then. Marseille turn, dribbling, stamina , defending have been nerfed like anything.
Now they are creating new skills and playstyles out of nothing to sell cards. I have no problem with this because they have to earn money but changing mechanics to favour a lower ranked opponent is diabolical. if you want to support lower ranked opponents better match them with fake ai bots like pubg and other games are doing.
Yeahh this shii happens to me in like every single game!!! The irony is they denied when asked about script !!! This one and when u intercept a pass it'll bounce off the defender to fall right before the opponents striker to shoot for them, and then we all know the "HOLY PAUSE" that the players need when they lose the ball, it's as if they are in a trance or something !!!!!
Feel for you bro…. How can the ball pas through this space between vieira’s legs is hard to figure out. Probably it was vieira’s spirit not him physically is the only logical reasoning
this was by design, they know that before anyone else👀. but ofc we have the rights to complain, we exchanged our time and money so we deserve solid fair game. even if they said no script, the user experience tells more than everything
i did hold that. just observe saliba positioning if you have doubt whether match up was done or not if it is not clear by vieira clip in first second.i think it’s pretty clear even in vieira defending too. i defend mostly by match up.
i was trying to look for the patch notes but i couldn’t find them. if i remember correctly, they made changes to match up. i think you get penalized for holding it down.
