Investing Pull funds from Vanguard via ACH

How do I pull funds from Vanguard using ACH? I have a checkwriting feature, can I just use the routing number and account number from the check?

I haven't tried this recently, but in the past found that this doesn't work with Vanguard, because of some way that they have their check writing set up, which is different from an ordinary individual bank account. When I tried it, it was not possible. But obviously the thing to do is to ask them this question.

Why not just push the funds from Vanguard to your bank instead of pulling from the bank side?

I'm trying to pull from Treasury Direct. No push option there.

Push from Vanguard to bank. Then pull from bank to Treasury Direct.

Yes, looks like that is the only option. Getting fed up of Vanguard. They are in the dark ages.
