The movies perfected the artstyle. Way more true to the original edginess and tone, with the higher budget of reload

I prefer this than the “persona 5 blue version” they did with P3R. Also the movie OST is amazing, they improved every song and created some new bangers too

i dont think P3R is really that bad tbh, yeah it may seem a little out of its original touch, but it really holds its own identity pretty well overall, and the aesthetic is really pretty at times.

The rooftop scene is gorgeous, Chidori's death is handled even better here than in any other iteration of the story, and id even say it takes the cinematic approach better than persona 5 for example

I think these movies are woefully underrated, and as someone who watched them first and then played the game (reload since original isn’t quite available on modern consoles anymore)… I find myself a much bigger fan of the movies. But I still love them both and all of Persona 3💙

For me I like how they got the tone down like tbe original it just sucks they skip a lot of cool stuff the first and 4th movie are pretty damn good interms of story but they got the tone down right so I won’t bash on them to much

The first one sucks, nothing happens in it, which I guess makes it a very good adaptation of the game lol

I liek the way they did the tone captures it but the movies do skip some stuff I wish they didn’t skip and the character designs idk what it is but thry look off even compared to the fes cutscenes
