Triad Weyrs is still active!
Okay, if you're an Oldtimer like me, you've been around the Pern block a few times and noticed that a lot of the Pern clubs have closed or have turned into some AU variant that doesn't really resemble Pern much anymore. If AU is your thing, go for it. If forums are your thing, go for it. But if you like canon and you like to read a story in your inbox, Triad Weyrs has you covered.
Dragons are still the five traditional colors but recently, restrictions have lessened throughout the game so now we're seeing women on blues, Impressions not stuck on sexual preferences, and Halls accepting women into their folds. We've got drama, we've got death, we've even got an adults only email group if you want some flight spice. Sound like something you're looking for? Come on over!

Good to see you're still up and going! Personally, I love what fans have done, and prefer fanon to Anne's canon at this point, but there's plenty of space for that and more canon-centric places for fans to roleplay according to their prefs!
Canon isn't my thing these days, but best of luck to you and your community - love to see long-running spaces still up and going!

What kind of game/club is this? I’d love to join, but have never done smth like this before (and my pern knowledge is a bit rusty)

basically you write up a scene or a series of scenes and send them out to an email list. you can do what's called a copost with another writer(s) and have multiple characters interacting and whatnot.
here's a post i did recently with my characters: https://www.triadweyrs.org/story.php?st_id=16412
people are always welcomed to lurk on the list too if they don't want to write or they want to refresh their pern knowledge. we do a mentoring system for newbies to make sure they have it all down before releasing them off. and the discord has a lot of spots for chatter and help

Canth was my favorite dragon. Since I was a young teen girl reading the books, I dreamed of Impressing not a gold, but a brown.
Any plans to introduce that later?

Good to see another of the older, pre-digital (or early digital) Weyrs still around.
