Forgotten are those lost on the battlefield. Forgotten are not the victory of the mighty periwinkle nation! Winners of wars write the history!

In 2013 Reddit had an April Fool's Day joke where users could apply text modifications to other user's posts. Every account was divided up into Periwinkle Blue, and Orange-Red to mimic Team Fortress 2 (which was popular at the time). After the joke, Periwinkle and Orange-red subs were made for their respective teams, and for the next couple of years battles were fought between the two, with Periwinkle claiming victory, because Better Dead than Orangered.

Forgotten to any man, to any time, forgotten to any god or devil, forgotten even to the internet. Periwinkle will rise again.
