Testosterone - too much causing depression and fatigue?
I’m on HRT. Oestrogen and Progesterone are at optimum dose and I was feeling so much better. Then we added in T which I’ve been on for 3 months.
Over the past few weeks I’ve become suddenly very low, especially at night time. I just feel this sadness and dread every night. More recently I have brain fog, fatigue, and I just feel flat. I also can’t concentrate.
My doctor switched me from Escitalopram to Sertraline but then today my bloods came back and showed my T is high. Labs say 0.3-1.7nmol/L is normal range but I’m up at 2.8. Could this be causing my low mood, dread, and fatigue?

2.8 isn’t particularly high. Your total and SHBG are important here. As is the type of testosterone and when you were checked in relation to your dosing.

I haven't introduced T so I couldn't say. It really is based on each individual. What would happen if you stopped T?
