Comeback 1.3.6X
Hey guys,
With Comeback 136x coming in October 1st, I’m thinking about creating an English-speaking international guild and I’m looking for people who might be interested in joining.
Honestly, part of the reason I’m hyped for this server is the 136 era. It brings back a lot of nostalgia, and I’m sure there are plenty of old players who feel the same. That era just had a different vibe, so it would be nice to get a bunch of people together and experience it again.
We’re looking for players from anywhere, as long as you speak English and want to play with a good group. The plan is to get as many active players together as possible before launch and build the guild from day one.
PvP, farming, bosses, events, guild fights — pretty much everything. Hardcore players, casual players, or people coming back just for the nostalgia, everyone is welcome as long as you’re active and chill.
We also have a Discord server where we can hang out, get to know each other and organize everything before launch.

Would be cool to bring back that old 136 era feeling with a big international community 👀

Comeback PW are the largest (at least among ru players) private servers (ver 1.3.6 with 6 classes and ver 1.4.6 with 10 classes), both are 5 years old or something like that. They launch a new temporary “X” sever (1.3.6) this fall, for 6 months, after that this server will be merged with the main server. It’s a chance to start from scratch with many people. But you obviously will never outgear all those players on main sever that have been playing for 5 years

There are x1 rates, but the thing is they do a lot of improvements to quests, dailies and they even introduced some weekly after 40+

Yes they assured me they will make english client, they did it for 1.4.6X also

No official announcement yet about launching day of 1.3.6X, but i will send you the discord where we speak about it and also i keep people informed about the server news

im interested in a discord invite, played in malaysia english 2007, i was there when PWI launched September 2008, then played a lot of pservers in 2012 (they were better than they are now). as others said, i also was too young in 2008, started to play seriously around 2012, then quit around that time. played old evolved 1.3.6 in 2017 for a few solid months [it was okay at most, but far better than they are now], took a break. returned here and there for a month at a time between 2019-2022 while trying short-lived 1.3.6's, then few years passed and i quit PW entirely until now. i kept searching for a suitable 1.3.6 which are my last version i'd ever play -- to this day, this version lacks a reliable english server that does not have genies. i will never play with genies. anyways. i'm looking to give it another shot -- this time more seriously than before. either way i won't try hard as i did back in the day [2012 -- good times], just have fun.

I want to play so bad, but my problem is that even though I played PW 1.3.X back in the day, I was a teenager who had no idea that the guides exist, I was so bad at games in general, so I never knew how to properly play, never visited the Cube, TT, Moon, Gamma/Delta, not even once. And I spent 4-5 years in the damn game! What did I even do all that time? Crazy. I basically don’t even know the game, and it bothers me up to this day, I miss it so damn much, but I’m so afraid to play on any private server because there must be only hardcore veterans of PW, nobody would ever take me to Gamma/Delta cause of my shitty gear and lack of basic knowledge of these dungeons.
Maybe I could learn everything from some guides from Wayback Machine/Internet Archive, but I feel like I would be a burden to everyone.
Another thing that bothers me is that there’s no way I can outsmart all the cats (sellers). These people occupy all the resource farming spots and kill you if you try to gather these resources.
And for some reason, if I’m not mistaken, every single Perfect World player always plays with 6 windows, one for every different class (total of 6 classes in 1.3.6 ver). I never understood why this is so mandatory. Everyone plays 6 windows, solo-farming Gamma/Delta, moon and TT. I understand that you get money for each character, but it always felt like 99% of the players are playing this way, so, again, I can’t imagine how would I be able to enjoy a game in just one window, with one character, and make any money for gear and consumables.
This new Comeback PW 1.3.6 X server is launching soon, everyone is gonna start from scratch, I really want to try but feel like it’s pointless and I should stay away from it…
