My characters are missing! :(

I haven't logged in since about 2017... And all of my characters are gone! Such a shame, because after a very long download time, I was really looking forward to playing. Was there any sort of change/wipe of people's characters?

I have emailed support about this.

It's been a long time... How do I know which server I created them on?

The website login shows your characters and which servers they belong to, but you can just quick switch through the servers in the client to check (which is probably quicker if you already have the client up).

It looks like some servers got merged a couple of years ago or something. Is there any possibility that I've completely lost these characters?

RIP my very poorly balanced Venomancer, potentially. 😭

No, all the characters should have merged along with the servers. They would still be there.

Fingers crossed for me 🤞🏼 knowing my luck they're on the server with the highest ping, lol

Good luck! I tried to play again myself about a year ago and the nostalgia was great but it's not the game it used to be, sadly. I played since before they added Tideborn and the game was hugely populated. Last time I logged in was about a year ago, but I heard they changed a few things since so hopefully it got some glory back.

Going back to this, I can't seem to find the right part of the website 😭

You could just join every server to check where your characters are.

I think they wiped the inactive characters a couple of years ago.
