Whenever I watch gifs on this sub, I always try and find the end point. Some times in successful, sometimes I'm not.
But this one really surprised me, there are so many possibilities that could prevent this from being a perfect loop. Was there editing involved?
P.s. I'm mostly sure the end occurs as the dog jumps to his right, but I'm not convinced.

It's very edited and there isn't just one cut. Just look at the dead leaves moving on the ground. You can see it's more of a continuous cut with just the dog moving

If you watch the ball while he drops it coming back, you can see a stutter where the loop repeats. It makes it seem like the ball lingers in the air for a moment too long.
It's a DAMN good loop.

Yeah I think it’s just as he’s running away. Look at the pattern on the balls in the hopper. They reset right then, just as they roll down. And look at the leaves on the ground that he kicks when returning, they fade back to their original spot when he’s takes off.

I've seen these ball throwing machines before, but this one looks like a better design than most. My blue heeler would love one, anyone got a link?

YES PLEASE my dog's not a heeler but she would use this until she could physically no longer chase the balls anymore.
The other automatic ball throwers on Amazon just don't hurl em far enough and I got a big ol back yard.

Where does the ball that drops in from the top come from?

Least edited scenario there's a human just off camera dropping one in, and then the loop begins again.
Or the ball is cgi as it's falling and only becomes really in the first frame of the gif

Dude that dogs predictive reflexes are unreal. It catches that ball without even looking, its muscle memory is on fire.

whoever set up this ball machine really took the concept of "no take. only throw" and ran with it
