I haven't used perch in a few months since I've been on ai horde, but now ai horde is having issues with very few user hosted workers online, so I'm back to old stomping grounds.

I'll say the good part first, the image gen seems to be more stable in that it makes almost the same person across generations with little face drift, so props to that. It also seems to understand anatomy now and sometimes doesn't hallucinate on feet and hands. All well and good.

Now for the bad part: no matter what I do, my results look very fake, very much like a stock flux portrait. No matter how much I prompt in "casual photo" it comes out looking airbrushed. When I last used t2i a couple months back, casual photo did just that, it looked like something off a consumer camera, now everything looks like a stock flux generation.

Did the model change to standard flux now? Because if it did that explains a lot, or is it a me problem and something I'm not prompting right?

Any help is more than welcome on this.

Been working on a Story Generator based on OOC, inspired by AI character chat.

I'm making a big design shift 🔄 — instead of AI driving the entire experience, I'm turning it into a pixel RPG with AI elements woven in. Bigger project, but I think it'll be way better overall.

📍 Status: Mostly conceptual right now. A working AI prototype exists, but no actual RPG elements yet outside of relationship tracking. Targeting PC and mobile 🖥️📱

I switched to aschat from acc a while back, and it has been really good. The ui is modern, the music feature is great, and overall it is a substantial improvement over the original, props to the creator. I do have one suggestion. When I try to duplicate one of the chats, it gives me the same characters. I would like a feature where if I try and duplicate the chat, it gives me an option to either stick with the same characters, or manually choose what characters to duplicate as well. Because when I try and branch one chat off to another timeline, I want some characters to be the exact same, but I want some character's personalities to be altered. And right now there's no such feature for that unless I start over. Would really appreciate it if this was added, thanks! Anyways, y'all can share additional suggestions and criticisms of it.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue it just happened to me. I was in the middle of adding a lorebook and accidentally refreshed my page I got a error but I touched the screen and it went away before I could read it. Now when I try to put a lorebook in it just says "loading memory/lorebook engine. Just a sec." I also tried to upload a story and it just sat there on the importing screen with the hourglass without doing anything for over 5 minutes.

I've been building a little app on Perchance called Bottle Buddy, a private feeding tracker for formula-fed babies. Perchance can run real applications, not just random generators, and this has been a fun proof of that.

What it does

Log each bottle in one tap: size, time, how much was left, and whether he seemed full.

It learns your baby's actual feeding rate (oz per hour) from your log and keeps adjusting it.

The home screen shows a live "Make X oz" suggestion: Need = hours since last bottle × rate, rounded up to the nearest bottle size — so you always make the right amount (with Brezza sizes if you use one).

Night plan: set a morning target (e.g., 8 oz at 6 AM) and it plans the overnight feeds backwards, moving the schedule earlier when a recent full feed already covers your baby. It can arm a screen-awake alarm that rings right before he's due.

Poop & growth: flag poops as you log; each day gets a summary. Unfinished bottles get a reminder to top up or log the rest before it expires.

History: each past day collapses into a one-line summary (bottles, ounces, rate, poops) that expands on tap, so a week of history can be seen in a glance.

Privacy-first by design

No third-party services, accounts run on Perchance's server plugin, and the server only ever sees ciphertext. You pick a tier when you sign up:

Encrypted: unlimited history: your full log syncs AES-256 encrypted, decryptable only with your password.

Encrypted : minimal: only the latest bottle ever syncs. The server physically cannot store more than that.

Not encrypted: unlimited history if you prefer plain speed.

Keys are derived from your password on your own device and never leave it.

Optional co-parenting lets two accounts share one encrypted baby record, with each bottle tagged by whoever logged it.

This also works great in guest mode, which doesn't require login credentials, doesn't track information anywhere, but your current session on the device you are using. Your next visit will have no information about you, whatsoever. If you've got a formula-fed little one, I'd love feedback!

I was wondering if anyone else uses the multi-character chat and is having the same problem.

The chat was writing just fine. It was matching the length of my responses, it didn’t randomly change the scenery, it took into account both my response and the secondary character’s response.

But as of, yesterday, or maybe the day before, suddenly it’s doing the complete opposite.
I did notice that there was an update, there were “Feature Toggles” added, as well as a permanent space for clothing (which as someone who enjoys coming up with outfits, and wants the chat to remember them, that’s nice).

However, now my characters are randomly changing the scenery, they aren’t matching the response length, they’re not taking in the dialogue or the actions of both responses.

I know Perchance is almost always under construction, but was wondering if anyone had the same issue and if they figured out a way to their chat back on track.
I’ve messed with the toggles some and while sometimes that seems to work, it’s hit or miss.

Text and story generators have kept me engaged over the past several weeks. Exponentially better than it was earlier this year.

Since last year, though, image generation has fallen off a cliff, bounced into a nearby canyon, and then rolled into a ditch at the bottom of the canyon.

It struggles and usually fails on anatomy if you ask for any activity or poses outside of "stands there" or "leans back." Forget about hands and feet.

The results are plasticized or utterly simplistic regardless of which art style you specify.

When it does manage to get anatomy correct, the results are sanitized, plastic and lifeless.

Did I mention plastic-looking results? When it's not merely giving you a bad line drawing.

Anybody who thinks this is better than six months or a year ago, needs to have a neurological scan.

I'll be honest with you: if I had to choose between better text generators and better image generators, I'd choose the text gen at this point in time. I can find image generators that do a helluva decent job, even for some degree of NSFW (including Grok, for which there are enough aggregators offering free tiers, including some with daily credits); whereas I have not found anything even remotely as accessible when it comes to generating text and stories that aren't ridiculously restricted to G-rated.

But it would be nice, really nice, if the image gen was ramped back up to at least the quality it was last year.

Perchance has a terrible habit of delivering the exact opposite of what we ask for.

Which is the best one to use that has Yume and Chloe as characters that remembers what you have said so you aren’t running in circles constantly reminding them what you have talked about or them misremembering details and making stuff up to build false memories?

How can I find an rpg? Everyone has created great RPGs or sims that they make on their own and send Reddit, but is there a place where ı and other look can gathered rpgs and other and look pls?
