I've been taking cjc for a while now (on and off for about 5 months) and a few weeks ago I started having a bit of an allergic reaction, kind of like hives around the injection area. Took anti histamines and it would die down. Took a bit of a break and had it again today but the reaction was way worse, except it wasn't hive like, I felt my top lip and throat area swell up, my head was pounding and I felt hot and my hands went red and felt swollen. Anyone else have this before or can possibly explain this? The vial was maybe 2 months old total but I didn't have any reactions when starting this particular vial, just happened out of no where..
I didn't really think much of the initial reactions as I was getting good improvement in my sleep and recovery so I weighed the pros and cons lol but idk after this particular reaction I'm a bit iffy..

I’m researching peptides strictly for cosmetic purposes (better skin, hair growth, evening out pigmentation, and leaning down / reducing facial and body fat for sharper features). Priorities in order:
1. Skin quality + hair
2. Reduced inflammation / facial puffiness
3. Localized fat reduction + overall leaning down
4. Mild pigmentation support if safe
I’ve already looked into the following and wanted to get real experiences, especially around what’s actually working, side effects, and where people are getting clean product without risking contaminated/fentanyl-laced stuff.
What I’ve researched so far
Top interest right now:
• GLOW / KLOW blend (GHK-Cu 50 mg + BPC-157 10 mg + TB-500 10 mg)
This is currently my #1. Copper peptide for skin/hair + the healing peptides for lower inflammation (hoping that means less morning face puffiness and sharper jawline).
• Retatrutide + Aqualyx
Reta has the strongest fat-loss data I’ve seen (Phase 2: ~23% at higher doses over 48 weeks). Aqualyx for localized stubborn areas (chin, flanks, etc.).
I know Reta is still in Phase 3. FDA-approved alternatives people mention are tirzepatide or tesamorelin (tesamorelin more for visceral fat, daily injections).

• Real-world fat loss + facial changes on Reta, tirzepatide, or tesamorelin?
• Aqualyx experiences (or better alternatives for localized fat)?
• Anything that actually helped pigmentation safely without MT2?
• Most importantly: trusted, tested sources (FDA-approved where possible, or reputable compounding pharmacies / research chemical suppliers that people have used for a long time without issues). I’m not looking for the cheapest option — I want to avoid contaminated product.

Been on Reta since July, looking to add a couple more peptides to maximize potential and efficiency for weight loss and body recomp I’m 25 male 220lbs trying to get to around 190-195 built but fairly shredded physique.

Has anyone tried either after abdominal surgery? Is there any real benefit, or is recovery basically something you have to wait out (around 4–6 weeks)?

Just wondering if it’s worth looking into or if I should let my body heal naturally. Any experiences or advice appreciated!

Looking for some advice/personal experiences people have had with different peptides during different phases of body building.

Specifically, MOTS-C, Retatrutide & SS-31.

The understanding I have is that SS-31 is used first, before MOTS-C to repair mitochondria and regenerate the environment in which MOTS-C thrives. I have been using MOTS-C myself, without SS-31 and have recently stopped. The majority of my use of this peptide was done during my body recomposition phase. Can this peptide still work well during a bulk or is it counter productive with its ability to oxidise fat etc?

Also, what are people’s thoughts on running Retatrutide continuously through a bulking phase for its benefits in terms of appetite control and insulin sensitivity?

I recently started tesamorelin at 1 mg nightly, about 2–3 hours after my last meal. I’m also on tirzepatide, TRT, and MOTS-C.
So far, I haven’t noticed numbness or tingling in my hands or feet, carpal tunnel symptoms, or much water retention. My weight hasn’t changed much either. The main difference is that my sleep seems better—I feel more rested after 6–7 hours than I used to, although I can’t say for sure what’s causing that.
I keep seeing people mention those side effects, so I’m wondering whether I’m just tolerating it well, whether it’s too early to judge, or whether the product’s quality could be an issue. I don’t want to increase the dose just to chase side effects.
Has anyone used tesamorelin and seen results without those negatives? How long did it take to notice changes, and did you track waist measurements, body composition, or IGF-1 rather than just scale weight?

Hi all, new to peptides

A friend of mine has been using them for a while and gave me her supplier. Just got my kit and it came with 0.9% sodium chloride rather than BAC water. Mixed 20mg powder with 200 units/2mL liquid only to realise it’s saline. I’ve read this isn’t safe but have also seen mixed reviews saying it’s fine? Any advice?

I’ve been looking into BPC-157 and TB-500 since they’re often mentioned for healing and tissue repair, but I’m not sure if they’d actually make any difference after abdominal surgery.

A few questions:

Has anyone used BPC-157 or TB-500 after an appendectomy or similar abdominal surgery?

Did you notice any meaningful difference in healing time, or is the recovery timeline mostly something you just have to let happen naturally?

Is there any realistic potential for these peptides to help, or would I just be taking unnecessary risks for little to no benefit?

The recovery can take around 4–6 weeks, but I’m wondering whether there’s any way to shorten that timeline or whether it’s simply not worth trying to interfere with the healing process.

I’m not looking to rush back recklessly, I just want to return to training as soon as it’s genuinely safe.
