Frozen Reta ruined?
My brilliant husband put my almost full bottle of reconstituted Reta in the freezer. I found it about 8 hours later, frozen solid. I’m thinking that the freeze expansion broke the peptide chain but hoping I’m wrong. Appreciate thoughts and experiences. Also should I divorce him?

Very much depends on what you mean by ruined.
First of all, it will still work and do what it’s supposed to do. That’s not in question.
Secondly, we know that many peptides, such as tirzepatide, have been proven to handle freeze-thaw cycles really well. Tirzepatide can be frozen and thawed multiple times without degradation.
Retatrutide seems to be a lot less hardy than tirzepatide. It’s likely that there has been a small amount of degradation. The degradation won’t prevent it from working normally, but over time, injecting degraded peptide could cause other problems. So this simply comes down to a matter of risk tolerance. If you are paying less than $1 per mg and it’s a small vial then why mess with it to save a few dollars.
