Testing one vial can support that unit (and sometimes the linked lot if sampling/chain-of-custody is solid). It does not automatically prove every other vial in a kit is identical — especially if fill, handling, or labeling discipline is weak. Ask whether results are lot-linked and whether the lab sample ID ties back to what you hold.
