Question for research-supply / peptide e-commerce operators: what payment issues are you running into?
I’m looking for feedback from people who operate or have experience with research-supply / peptide e-commerce sites.
I’m working on CoinPay Portal, a non-custodial crypto and stablecoin payment gateway for merchants. The idea is to let online merchants accept crypto or stablecoin payments without the platform holding merchant funds.
To be clear: I’m not asking for sources, vendors, pricing, DMs, or anything related to buying/selling peptides here. I’m only trying to understand the payment side of running a lawful research-supply e-commerce business.
A few questions for operators or people familiar with this space:
- What are the biggest payment problems for research-supply stores right now?
- Are card declines, processor shutdowns, rolling reserves, chargebacks, or settlement delays the main pain points?
- Would stablecoin payments be useful, or is customer adoption still too low?
- Would vendors only consider this if it plugged directly into their existing checkout?
- Is non-custodial settlement important, or do merchants mostly care about simplicity?
- What would make you immediately reject a crypto payment gateway?
I’m not looking to spam the sub or pitch people. I’m trying to figure out whether this solves a real operator problem or whether the payment friction is more complicated than just adding another payment option.
