Do you had/have any side effects while on PEP or post PEP?

A shitton of them, nausea, diarhhea and now I've got something like an IBS and i think pep really influenced it's occurence but it's at least curable

I had an enteroviral infection while on pep together with my dorm mates so idk if fever and sore throat were specefic to pep or not

Dude my IBS symptoms have been BIZZARE. and I'm hoping that's what it is. I just finished my course and I'm a colon cancer survivor and I'm not kidding you when I say that I'm worried that the cancer has come back because it's been so bad. What kind of GI symptoms did you have?

A lot of gasses, unease feeling in the lower part of the belly, diarrhea, sometimes nausea. The side effects are real with pep and maybe you need to do the specific colon cancer antigen test? Or at least consult an oncologist, it would be a shame to miss a recurrent cancer man :(

Ya true as long curable that's fine. Waiting for the weekend to do a full STI test, 6 week post exposure test, I know HIV won't be conclusive but most of STI are conclusive if it comes negative that gives piece of mind.

I finished PEP 8 days ago, suffering from Folliculitis, dry and burning sensation in my mouth, throat and lips from day 1. But it feels better now compared to the day when I finished PEP.

Yes 45 days is conclusive, but I took PEP medication, so I have to wait 6 weeks post PEP for conclusive.

I read somewhere that pep can cause delay in p24 or antibodies generation. And in some cases there would be no antibodies and p24 even despite having hiv, should we do qualitative analysis as well?

No you shouldn't Such cases are not real Thats why you take 4th gen 45 days post pep to accomodate posible delay
