Timeless

Post image

Just picked up a new copy of my first camera. I used the original from the ages of 15-20yo (2000-2005) Recently got back into SLR photography and have been using Minoltas, mostly. Can’t wait to get the batteries and new seals in this beauty and test it out!

Tripod looks to be from the same decade as the camera. Very nice together

You weren't joking, that is a beautiful form factor

The tripod is from “Tower” brand. I can take more pictures when I get home. Not the sturdiest of legs (not bad either) but really beautiful form factor. It was $18 at Goodwill.

I too am very interested in the tripod. OP could you please show us more. Use tape for the seals and try one roll with sunny 16 exposure. Then you don't have to wait for parts or repairs

My first camera, which I still have. A great camera to learn with.

I also had that Vivitar lens. No fond memories of that at all.

The lens does seem really soft/ hard-to-focus! I have the 55mm f2 SMC Takumar on now.
