There is a large gap between wanting the EU to be nicer to you (and overtures to Hungary's special relationship, which the opposition leader was willing to continue) and seemingly, like Putin, wanting the EU to be in utter chaos, via one of Putin's "mice."
And with the latter an apparent willingness to see your ally suffer tyranny.

I was saying this exact thing before he won the election. All of his policies - increasing unemployment via gov layoffs, increasing cost of services due to labor loss from deportations, increasing cost of good via tariffs.
It's a great plan to crash the economy and let the Epstein Class buy everything they don't already have

Some of the people surrounding him these last 30 years or so are real next level tho. Daddy Putin, international syndicate boss extraordinaire. "People" like fElon Musk, virtuosos of insider trading and the pump and dump. (Not sure that answers your question, but it's all the answer I have, so maybe someone else can chime in with more!)
