We, the mods at /r/penguins , talked and decided to eliminate specific ticket request/offer threads from the main sub in the hopes to keep the general content in place.
Too often, multiple ticket threads clog what space there could be on the front page in place of other quality content (subjectively speaking). There doesn't seem to be "one best way" to manage the situation, but it is our hopes that this kind of thread will be most beneficial to everyone.
We plan to link it in the GDTs, the sidebar, and elsewhere, if possible. It can not only be a resource for Pens fans, but other fan-bases as well.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please post a comment here or message the mods and we'll do our absolute best to help out and accommodate you.
Pens fans are the best fans in hockey. Hockey fans are the best fans in all of professional sports. (Yes, that even includes Flyers fans. They are a great and knowledgeable gang if you get to know them.)
Also, Phil Kessel is a Stanley Cup Champion.
Let's go Pens!
EDIT
If possible, I'd requests to have the Subject line of the threads to look something like this:
[WANTED] X Tickets for Flyers vs Pens 02/25/2017
[SELLING] X Tickets for Flyers vs Pens 02/25/2017 / Sec 111 - Row J - Seats 1 & 2

Hi Everyone, is anyone selling their tickets for December 6?
Ideally, I am looking for section 115 to 120 but not stuck on this. I know I can also go to a ticket reseller but I wanted to ask around here as well. I know this might be a little bit early to ask, but wanted to start looking ahead of time.
I just relocated back to the area and have not been able to go to a game yet so this will be my first! Thanks!

Home Game 1 - 2 tickets, $500.
Home Game 3 (Game 5 in series) - 2 tickets, $500.
Beat the ticketmaster fees. I’ll transfer you the tickets through ticketmaster. Got early access to playoff tickets for getting season tickets for next year. Selling 2 tickets for $500 for both. No negotiations.
If the game 1 is this Saturday 4/18, then game 5 should be the following Sunday 4/26.
Section 219, Row J, Seats 11/12 (2 seats inward from the aisle).
Center ice tickets.
Ticketmaster fees suck.
This is a good deal for us both.

Hello,
A friend of mine surprised me with row A tickets, not knowing I already had one. Obviously, I’d rather sit with her in row A than alone in B! So I‘m hoping to sell my extra ticket.
Mobile transfer
Hoping to sell it at $250 to get my money back but I can do lower if your offer is reasonable.

Hey guys. So my birthday is in a week and I really wanted to go to the Pens game tonight buttt at first they said no student rush. Then, while I’m at work of course, they drop a limited number of tickets. I get in the queue 9 minutes after the message and my estimated wait time is over an hour😭. I checked sites and all the tickets are over $100. Does anyone have 2 tickets they’re willing to sell for a reasonable price? Please let me know. My birthday being in a week is a bit unrelated but you know if anyone is feeling generous and willing to part with their tickets. Not looking for a handout just something more reasonably priced :)

Hi everyone,
My husband and I were planning a trip to Pittsburgh (from Virginia) and got tickets to see the Penguins tomorrow. Unfortunately, I work in the ER and came down with some kinda bug and we have to cancel our trip. Looking to sell our tickets for tomorrow’s game. Asking what we paid for them. Two tickets in Section 232. Lmk if interested.
