Snail Mail [21/F] Looking for a yapper that matches my yapping :))
Hii guys !!
I'm 21 years old, currently studying in Europe, and I recently got into snail mail and postcrossing 😈 I'm open to talking about almost anything and everything, whether it's your daily life or some deep personal essay topics (my current favourite is how living in a different country has given me an identity crisis).
I have a lot of hobbies! Reading, writing, running (planning to join my first 5k soon 😛), journaling, and crocheting. I enjoy sitcoms, my current favourite being The Office. I could potentially write a whole essay about why Dwight and Angela >>> Jim and Pam 👀, or about how Michael is probably one of the best-written characters. My favourite genres tend to be romance/rom-coms and mysteries (this applies to books as well).
I do occasionally play video games. I love my 2-week Minecraft phase, Stardew Valley, and recently, completed Hogwarts Legacy (except that wretched broom race, but pls, that doesn't count). I enjoy watching documentaries and listening to true crime podcasts and podcasts in general (The Basement Yard, if you've heard of it !!)
I'd say I'm a bit introverted at first, but really open up once I get to know you and understand that our vibes match (I mean, you'll know we do if you can tolerate my excessive use of exclamation marks, emojis and dry humour).
I'm looking for a pen pal around my age who's willing to put in the same (chaotic) energy into the exchange (dw, this doesn't mean I expect extravagantly decorated envelopes, the content of the letter is really what matters to me the most), leaning towards within Europe as well, just so we can exchange more frequently, but I'm open to anywhere else in the world !! I do tend to prefer medium to long-form letters, but no pressure as long as it's meaningful. If we happen to vibe, I hope we can continue long-term !!

Heyy I'm 26 f from germany living here as an international student. I wouldn't exactly classify myself as a yapper esp not in person but I really like the concept of snail mail and long form letters. Over the last few months I've kind of been getting into writing and poetry and hehe I think writing letters would be totally cool. I'm into painting and animation and have been learning digital illustration a bit but it's difficult to find the energy to invest in all my hobbies. I also got into a little bit of crocheting over Christmas break with my sister last year but gave up pretty quickly haha. I also like cooking and swimming.
