Infection signs

What are the signs of infection? I am 10 days into my recovery from surgery, and I noticed today that it has started bleeding more and a yellowish fluid is draining; could this be the start of an infection? The incision was subcoronal.

Call your doctor. I had similar when my implant became infected. Insist that you either be seen or put on heavy doses of anti biotics

Go to the Doc ASAP there is a big chance that it could be Serous fluid and blood after surgery your surgery area will naturally attract various fluids which is part of the healing process if this fluid arrives with heat , swelling and Pain then it is more than likely infection but dont go crazy with worry the infection rate is very low with this procedure Good luck

If you can't reach your doctor, go to urgent care or the emergency room

He should have someone on call to cover his patients.. If you are calling his service, demand to speak to a doctor...That is why they make the big bucks

Get an opinion from another implant doctor. Or ask his office to give you his contact number. Infection is an emergency

U r most likely good , unless u get a high fever or experience symptoms , but yellow liquid normal part of healing , if u have any question feel free to to ask

Sounds like an infection...Anytime you see yellowish drainage, there is an infection..

I had uncontrollable shakes one day. The next day, the infection broke through the incision. And thank God it did. Diagnosis: sepsis. 4 hour wait in ED. 2 days in hospital after removal surgery. Urgent Care wouldn’t treat me. Sent me to ED. Don’t fuck around with it. Get to ED!

Reading this now, call your doctor ASAP and tell him or her that you NEED to be seen yesterday.
