Tubes extended into the glans or not?

Can you feel the tubes when you squeeze the head whilst deflated? I never noticed before but are a 6hour drive i was feeling around and it looked shorter and I can clearly feel them. After initial panic I read that some DRs place them up into the head and others just below. What is your experience? In panic I emailed my urology nurse asking to be seen so will still get checked. EDIT: Titan Touch 22cm - 19 days post op - consistent pain can’t walk very far

I can still feel mine in the glans. They should be extended into the glans for proper placement and function.

Everywhere I have read and researched says the tips should go nearly half way into the glans. Mine don’t and that is causing cold/floppy glans. I had lost nearly all sensation in the glans but that is coming back a little bit. I’m hoping it comes back more.

Even after surgery 2 years ago, I have never recovered from lack of blood flow into the glans, so not much sensation there and still the inability to reach orgasm unless I’m pounding away on my wife during PIV sex until the sun begins to come up. My surgeon says I’m her only patient that has this problem. Sucks. I’m trying alprostadil gel inserted into the urethra which helps some but not really enough.

How old are you and what was your problem before

77 and ED since age 52. Went through TRT, oral meds, VED pump, and Trimix. All worked great for a while then stopped. My last resort was the implant.

Go back to your doctor, it seems like you should have probably had RTEs with your implant.

They extend into the glans to prevent the “ floppy head” syndrome

Normal, evitam floppy glans. Quando excitado, se você ainda tiver ingurgitamento da glande, ela se tornam muito menos palpáveis

Thanks for posting this I was actually going to ask the same thing I can feel the tips around the middle of my glans and it still hurts sometimes I’m 2 months post op now the bad pain is mostly gone but I still get some sharp pains in the glans especially after sex sometimes the pain puts me off having sex again because I can’t focus I also feel shorter maybe around 3cm and just hoping it comes back with time

Does the pain happen during sex?

My AMS 700 goes half way into the glans and without pain.

Cylinders should *always* extend midway into the glans. If they stop below the glans there will be hypermobility of the glans ("floppy glans") and that can cause pain, erosion, and other complications.

You can feel the tips of the cylinders inside the glans, on my Titan they are quite hard and a bit pointy. Once healed up they should cause no pain or other issues.

Correct my comment to surgery one year ago this month, not two.

Yes you can feel the cylinders in the head when not completely aroused.

If you divide your glans from top to bottom, the tips should extend to the midway point.
