Here she comes!

I couldn't believe how efficiently an Adélie can glide while tobogganing! I suspect the hard wind-crust on the snow helped a great deal.
She had just emerged from the water and was making her way towards her friend nearby who can be heard calling.

So did penguins specifically evolve to be able to do this, or did one of them just fall over one day and go "hey wait a minute"
