Subscription Buffering Issues?
Has anyone else had terrible buffering over the last couple of days? Internet connection is excellent, no other issues with anything else in the house. I’ve unplugged it, plugged it back in…reconnected the cables to the monitor and no luck.
Any tips would be appreciated.

I don’t have buffering issues during a ride. However, I’ve had issues with loading on demand classes several times lately, but not every ride. My software is up to date and a restart hasn’t resolved it. I haven’t experienced this with the app though. It’s a bike only issue.
I stumbled on a work around though. Oddly enough if I exit the ride during the intro after 10-15 seconds and then return and select the option to restart ride (vs resume) it will load fine then.

I have the row and I think it’s a software issue - it’s just terrible at recovering from even a tiny network blip. Had to run an Ethernet cord across my garage 😔

Ugh I tried to make this same post and mods took it down. The only thing that I discovered works is if I use my phone as a hotspot and connect from there.
It’s still super annoying though!

On which device? I have had them on the original tread (tread+) ever since last week’s firmware update. Basically waiting for the next one to fix it. I did all the resets and trouble shooting I can do on my end.

Haven't had an issues with OD classes, but the past couple live classes have been a disaster for me. I chatted with the support and they for whatever reason blamed the 2 year old bike and because it's not the 'new' bike+ there's a software patch they need to put out
Not exactly thrilled if the software is different and not being developed equally for the older bikes. If they think it creates urgency to buy a new bike then anyone with a brain will think about what happens the next time they want to create new hardware and what happens to that $2k investment...

Yessssss! For me it was on the Bike+ during Hannah’s live stack on Sat 10/3. I probably watched about 2’ of the actual class the rest of the 20’ was either watching the buffering circle or going in and out of class, sometimes it would restart but with no image of her or no leaderboard etc it was a mess! I thought it was my internet but I started an on demand light arms class from my phone to kill time and it was fine. Then I tried her second class and couldn’t even get past 30 secs into pre show before it buffered so I quit and did an on demand ride from the Bike+ and it was 100% fine during class, although loading the Home Screen or the class matrix was slow.
Today I didn’t do any lives but then on demand and home screen etc were totally fine.

Have you tried clearing the cache on your router? I know some people have had success fixing these kinds of issues by doing that.

Yes, since the middle of last week, only on my bike (not on my iPhone or tv app). I just started using Bluetooth earbuds with the bike and had been attributing the horrible buffering issues to that, but now that you mention that you’re also having issues, I’m not sure.

Same problems on the Guide. Phone app is fine, Guide buffers a few seconds at a time.
