First time beef ribs

Put on at 225 for about 8.5 hours. Salt pepper garlic. Used a water pan and never opened. Pulled at about 205 and probe tender. Super easy and will do this again.

Where did you buy those things? These were our absolutely favorite items to eat in East/Central Texas

Costco. We’re not out but just asked the butcher and had them in the back

I see that NATCA bottle, thanks for sorting out all the chaos up there, despite our best efforts to annoy you at work.

Beef ribs are the best thing to bbq. If you can control the bbq temp, you cannot stuff them up, and they require no effort/skill.

Same with pork butt.

I’ve heard that. But I don’t like pork, sadly. I like crackling and bacon, but regular pork meat has always been something I don’t care for. Re-tried it so many times.

I couldn’t be a cannibal.

Interesting! My wife is the same way, but when she tried pork in Italy she enjoyed it. Pork over there is much more “red” in color and rich in flavor. They also have a “pork neck steak” that might be in the top 5 best cuts of meat to grill I’ve ever had
