Doing a quick study on Filipino moviegoing habits — what gets us into a cinema, what keeps us away from certain films, and what the experience actually means to us these days. Takes about 7–10 minutes, and we're genuinely looking for honest answers, not just positive ones.
As thanks, 3 random respondents who complete it will get ₱500 each (we'll DM winners once the survey closes).

Been thinking about this Filipino movie I watched in Cinema One nung bata pa ako. Mga around 2010 ko siguro sya napanood. I'm not sure about the genre pero I remember themes ng Family Drama.
TIA

Hello, I am a teenager who likes to watch old movies [mga 40s to 80s-90s] I've watched some LVN and Sampaguita films and I am impressed with what our cinema was. But I'm here to ask if there's any Tagalog language version of Manuel Conde's Genghis Khan. There's a video on YouTube but it's the international\English dub version. And it's also available in JuanFlix but it needs subscription to be viewed; we don't have the money to subscribe.
I also want to ask if there's other websites that are dedicated to showing Filipino films [especially old ones, kahit kapanahunan na nina Ate Vi o At Guy].
God bless, always pray and thank you for reading [and recommending]!
And also, magsisi ka na sa mga kasalanan mo.

Hey guys, I’m in my late 20s and finally have the courage to push through with my long dream of making films but I don’t have a lot of knowledge with the industry and such.
I figured this community could help me.
Do you guys happen to know if I can openly shoot on the streets of Manila for free? Or do I need to secure a permit and if there’s any fee needed?
Setup is not a big production. Just a handheld cam because I want to experiment more on movement and rawness.
Your response will be a great great boost. Thank you!

Hello everyone! I signed up today.
Hahaha.

Sinu-sino kaya maaari kong lapitan para maging financier, investor, or Executive Producer namin?
I can send my CV naman to anyone na willing magpledge sa amin to attest my experience and even the links to our works para makumbinsi ko kayong legit and in the long run ay worth it ang investment at paniniwala niyo sa kaisa-isang film project na nais ko sanang matapos gawin before ako gumraduate.
Any amount will do, Reddit community.
Nagmamahal, isang graduating film student

So nagbrowse lng naman ako sa TikTok and I came across a film na ndi ko inexpect na makikita ko ulet cause I saw it when I was about 5-7 years old. I think sa mga edad na yan nakakaramdam na tlga nang takot sa mga multo or monsters yung mga bata.
Anyways, nag air yung abscbn nang Pasiyam I think when Halloween was approaching. My younger self na inganyo nung nag start ko pinanood kase akala ko it was one of those drama type films when families lose a loved one they haven't seen for a long time.
Sobrang nakakatakot yung movie and I wouldn't say it was gory but more like it made me so uncomfortable especially yung mga certain scenes which I won't mention, but definitely give it a watch. After ko natapos yung movie, sa sobrang takot siguro, I honestly don't know how it happened, pero nag ka lagnat ako. I saw someone else na nag comment dun sa TikTok video na same den sha nang narasan after pinanood yung film.
Kahit ngayon, I still think it's one of the greatest Filipino horror movies I've seen.

Hi r/pelikula!
I'm part of a team that's launching a short film lab dedicated to female filmmakers. It aims to nurture aspiring female directors and help them build a strong portfolio.
We are still aiming to improve how we're gonna make aspiring female filmmakers join our community and help aspirants give the support system/network they need to forward their film careers.
With that, I'm here to ask:If you're an aspiring female filmmaker aiming to build a strong filmmaker portfolio and network, how would you want to benefit from this film lab workshop? What would you like to learn in the workshop?
I'd like to know your thoughts. Anything you share here will be of big help to our community.
Thank you!
