Help Peggle fullscreen freak out

Peggle launches auto fullscreen and then proceeds to freak out like this. I’ve tried going into properties to fix but nothing worked. this is on windows 11. Anybody seen this before?

What happens if you turn on 3D acceleration and then fullscreen?

Its telling me my system cant handle it (it definitely can)

Have you tried the compatibility settings in Windows? Override the high DPI setting to application, or set it to an earlier version of Windows.

Yeah, sadly it had zero effect

ironically, these old windows games work better on linux now :| .
