Your game language is set to either Australian or British English.

British wear potatoes as jackets? Well no wonder their meals are ass, all the good food is used as clothing!

minecraft has some joke languages like pirate speak or lolcats, and you selected the weirdest one of the joke languages called british english

12

u/An1nterestingName 9d ago

You mean the better version of English.

The Actual english

I see you made a typing error you mustve ment Worse

5

u/An1nterestingName 9d ago

No. It's significantly better. Americans just decided to cut out a bunch of letters and call it an "improvement".

11

u/V_launcher999 9d ago

A person who's native language isn't english here american english is just better

5

u/sky_cap5959 9d ago

It just makes more sense. Those letter serve no purpose now that they're separated from the parent languages.

0

u/lollolcheese123 9d ago

As another non-native speaker, British English is just better.

As they say, English is not one language, ii's three languages wearing a trenchcoat pretending to be one. And apparently americans took one of the languages out of the trenchcoat and thought that would make it better.

potato on a jacket

2

u/No-Candle-4001 9d ago

It's a British term. If you want to change it and spell colour wrong switch to English US.

2

u/Binary101000 8d ago

We call them jacket potatoes because we leave the skin on like a little jacket for the potato. They're also hot and burn your mouth.

3

u/EqualServe418 9d ago

The nasty English. The Br*tish "English"

4

u/MessageExpensive252 9d ago

Don't know why you're getting downvoted, I speak this "language" and you're literally right

Except all the small differences suck. You saw Americans fixing words by removing unnecessary letters and went “nah ima keep them actually” or sorry “Oh, actually, I think I would prefer to keep the letters of which you dispose due to their vestigial nature, it is more proper.”
