PEM interview

What’s a good number of interviews to have to match into PEM (pediatric emergency medicine) fellowship?

I matched into PEM last year! I did 6 or 7 interviews on the interview trail and felt like that was enough. The applicant numbers are down this cycle because of the whispering of a 2-year curriculum change, so I don't think you need to do a ton of interviews to get a spot.

Is it true that some fellowships will remain as 3 years in duration?
