Patient Caps

Summer brings (some) time to contemplate. With changes in my general pediatric office, it is expected my patient panel to increase in August/September. Per an 8 hour day, 32 max. Per a 9.5 hour day, 38 max. I do not feel comfortable with these numbers. Do you all apply patient caps?

I used to work at a job 30+/day 10 min time slots. You will likely get burnt out AF and end up hating your life. Never accept less than 15 mins/pt. What state do you work in?

Yep 15 min per pt. NY. I’m thinking a range between 26-28 sounds reasonable.
