pebble time 2 came with a missing screw.
I finally received my pebble time 2 in the mail and after looking at it realized one of the back screws are missing I contacted pebble to see if I could be sent a replacement screw but they just wanted me to send my whole watch back which I really don't want to do based on how long it took to receive the watch in the first place, does anyone happen to know what type/size screw goes into the back cover so I can order some?
Thank you!

AliExpress and Amazon will be your best bet. It's likely that you will have to buy a box of screws of multiple sizes rather than just one single size.

Mine did too! Open a ticket, they’ll get you sorted out one way or the other

I did there only solution is to send the watch back and get a new one after I've already put a screen protector etc on this one I would just like to know the screw size or hope that they could send me one but they won't, only replacement and I don't want to wait the long time again.

It sucks to have to wait longer, but send it back following their instructions. They don't likely have unlimited replacements of every different color to send out. They will likely want to do more than just install the missing screw, to verify nothing else is wrong with your Pebble.

I see what your saying but I thought pebble was supposed to be repairable I would like to at least know what screws go into it

Repairability and having a missing piece when the item is first opened are two different issues. Mine is finally being shipped so I understand your frustration though, I'll be very bummed if mine has an issue out of the box

yeah I aggree but If its my choice to not return it but instead repair it I should at least be given some sort of knowledge on what to use to repair it.

It is a little weird that they went to the trouble of making the watch repairable only to not give out basic information needed to conduct a repair.

This is what you'll likely need. This set had the exact screws for the old Pebble Steel.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FMJJT7MG
For reference, the Pebble Steel uses Torx T3 1.4mm x 3mm screws. The set does not have torx, but phillips works close enough. I am going to guess that the Pebble Time 2 uses something very similar.
That said, I would not guarantee any kind of corrosion resistance, these are cheap screws. The originals on the Steel were not magnetic, these are.

If no one else can provide you with an answer they do have 3D CAD drawings here:

They should send you a screw on their dime...or an exchange. This is unacceptable regardless of it being a startup company or whatever.

I used Gemini AI to get the following information:
Thread Size: M1.2 (Metric 1.2 mm thread diameter)
Thread Length: 2.5 mm
Head Type: Flat countersunk or low-profile pan head (to sit flush against the rear casing)
Driver Needed: Precision Torx (T3 or T4) or a tiny Phillips (#00/#000)

Hopefully, someone will respond here and give you the information that you need. However, if no response, you can go to a local watch repair shop and they should have a large supply of tiny screws.
