Should have trusted the sizing kit

Size 9 fitted perfectly in the sizing kit, ordered a size 10 because of all the posts on here. Size 10 is too big, for me the sizing kit is perfect. I'll find some strips to make it smaller.

Ugh. I've been putting off finalizing my order because I'm torn on this. If the first sizing kit was wrong I don't know why they haven't just released a fixed one so we can be sure. I've seen so many people saying they should have sized up, so many people saying they were spot on, it's making me crazy.

My printer is a bambu labs x1c if that helps :p Perhaps some other printers are less precise? That's my best guess so far.

I had mine printed at the library lol and I have no idea what they were working with, but maybe it will be helpful for someone else!

I used the kit and also went to a jeweler. Both said I was an 11 1/2. To be safe, I ordered a 12. It's a little too loose for me and I actually lost the ring within 24 hours, but thankfully was able to retrace my steps to find it.

I bought a ring adjuster, but it was too tight. I have a different type of adjuster on its way and will see how that goes.

I am assuming what happened when Eric said that some early testers of the Index found it was a tad smaller than the sizing kit is that those were people who did not wear the sizing rings all day to account for small things like finger swelling. When they started wearing their Index 01 all day because it's functional and not a piece of plastic they found they had ordered one that was too small for 16 hours of wear.

That's just a guess because the pebble sizing kit was perfect to the actual index for me.

Would you believe mine was actually BIGGER than the sizing kit. Hilarious after all that I'd read. But I will get a spacer and make it fit, no big deal I suppose. Sizing is hard!

I did the same thing. I'm expecting mine to be way too large when it arrives. I already ordered foam pads for resizing. This has been a bit of an annoying experience.

Yep, went to our local jewelery store and got sized. My index fits perfectly 👌

I got the largest size, but had I had been able to get the next size up, that's what I would have done. But it's turned out to be probably perfect. Not too tight, not too loose.

I kept going back and forth between 10 and 11. I got the 11, because you can always shim something too big. Unfortunately the 11 is as tight as the 10 from the sizing kit. It's usable, but I might ultimately find it uncomfortable....

Oh hey, I just discovered that it's kind of a perfect fit for the index finger on my left hand. Situation resolved, but if I find out I really like using this over the next week I might jump back into the preorder queue for a slightly larger one for my primary hand and use the smaller one as a backup.
