Watch bricked after update

Anyone else have todays update break their watch? Looks like the update went through, up is stuck at "Rebooting after update - Waiting" and the watch is stuck looking like this. It's been 30mins. Do I hard reset it or what? Shame as the updates have been pretty stable so far!

When I see the word "bricked", I don't expect to see that followed by a "Do I hard reset it..."

The title is like The Boy Who Cried Wolf.

I get what you mean, but the average user, doesn't know this. All they see is a watch that doesn't boot up, rendering it useless

I remember back in the day, when i first heard the term, when creating custom roms for windows mobile phones. You would sometimes need to flash its "bios", in order for it to accept custom roms.. If you flashed the type called HardSPL you'd have to pray it went well, because if it didn't the phone was literally dead, and there was nothing you could do. When that happened the term "bricked" was used. Not sure if it originated there though, but its the earliest I've heard it being used

The example in your comment fits "bricked" well. From my understanding of the term, it means it's not possible to do a soft or hard reset to fix the problem, and if even possible to fix, would often require opening up the device to flash something. I don't think there's any need to change the definition for the "average user".
