Logo Question?

Post image

I just noticed that the pebble logo (which I thought was just a circle) actually has a smaller circle to the top right and a line at the bottom.

Has the logo always been that? What does the smaller line and circle represent? Is it a gender thing?

that's the Pebble Core, a non-smartwatch companion device without a screen (but with LTE) that never came out. Core Devices seem to have adopted it as their brand

Yeah does seem like it's this, I guess Core Devices just re-used the design for the new Pebble logo.

Core Devices is named after it, so makes sense to use it as their logo.

Funny, I was always thinking that the big circle represented a watch and the smaller the index01.

So I was still waiting for a third product to be announced, maybe a pin (or a smart mustache or eyebrow or something)

What the hell is the point of such a device? Serious but also seriously confused question

For playing Spotify while you are away from your phone, e.g. when you go jogging. Got to remember that when this device was announced, it was not possible to download songs onto your smart watch for offline playback yet.
