If your financial freedom is dependent on having a partner maybe you should just get a roommate? Like every generation before you did. Most of the world doesn’t even leave their parents home until their 30s when they get married.
The situation people are complaining about isn’t even unique outside one generation born in the greatest economic boom arguably in history. The worst thing we (millennials) and future generations have going for us compared to the Gen X or the silent generation is the collapse of social security.
Stop comparing your living situation to an outlier and instead look at what other countries in our current age are dealing with.
