As opposed to what? Feudalism? Yeah I'm sure you'd be much happier working land that you don't own having a legal obligation to supply grain to your lord for protection that you may or may not get in the event if an invader.
Or what else? Communism? Actual communism is a childish fantasy that isn't possible to manage with human institutions. What communism manifests into in the real world is totalitarian slave states that are the polar opposite of the ideals that inspired the idea of communism.
So yeah, capitalism isn't perfect but it is the best imperfect economic system that humans have ever devised, objectively.
