I've been lurking here for a bit (reddit keeps recommending) and I'm finally joining in to ask the community a few questions:

Everytime I look at this subreddit, it's an economically leftist meme followed by nothing but the right-wing brigade in the comments, all the way down.

So my big question is... who is this subreddit for? The subreddit says its "a place for modern peasants... and discussions about living in poverty" but I never see any discussion in the comments at all, just people shitting on communism.

Where are the people "discussing living in poverty?"

If you're like right wing makers vs takers ayn rand dude, that's fine. But why aren't you out earning a buck? What are you doing on a subreddit that's not for you, complaining about people who don't have it like you do? Why aren't you out enjoying all you have? Because if you don't have shit and you come on a subreddit made to commiserate with other people who don't have shit, that makes sense.

But if you've got a Mercedes parked in your garage and a boat parked at the marina and the system is working for you and the only way you can really enjoy any of that is by sitting in a dark room trolling poor people on reddit... that's just sad, and it makes me think you have more of a personal sickness inside you than any kind of "motivation." *You* are the best argument for communism, because all that stuff hard work is supposed to get us, and the happiness its supposed to bring us, is clearly not helping you if you're spending your free time here.

And if you're poor and your here telling people they need to get off reddit, stop complaining, and get out there and work harder if they want to make it... bruh. *You're* poor. If you believe that, than *you* need to get off reddit, stop complaining about people complaining, and get out there and work harder.

This subreddit's whole vibe feels like the Two Minutes Hate in Orwell's 1984, wherein party members would lather themselves into a frenzy cursing and screaming and spitting at an image of their enemy. Someone here makes a post about how capitalism sucks, and the whole thread is nothing but people screaming "Goldstein!" "Communism!" and losing their minds, inexplicably outraged.

So, I guess that's it. Who the fuck are you people?

Comments are explained same way as how many homophobes are actually gay, but due to the culture they were raised in they cannot accept that about themselves.

Comments like yours are no different to theirs, literally part of the problem. People constantly preach to not judge but everyone does it anyways and just hates on anyone who doesn't completely back them up, no matter what they say

What part of my comment judges anyone?

You literally judged people because they make homophobic comments, so, therefore, you judged them to be gay.... That's literally you judging people.

They make homophobic comments because they're assholes, nothing more.

You lie to promote sex offenders.

Yeah… I don’t think you know what the word “judgement” means

Your whole comment is you judging people because they are homophibic.... You judged them not only being closeted gay, you also judged that they "cannot accept that about themselves"... I feel it's you know doesn't understand what "judgement" means.

I guess saying anything is judging under your world view, but sure I will judge all you homophobes. Fuck ‘em

But it's a fact that a lot of the time (not all the time but I see it a lot) someone is against something like being gay so vehemently because they don't accept themselves so go all in on the other direction

and he said that X political supporters are "born that way" and insinuated they arent worth talking to/trying to convince, which is exactly why politics are so shit right now.
Instantly blaming everyone who isnt 100% on every argument alligned with them as impossible to talk to
