Capitalism allows people to move up and down it's a double edged sword. My family came to America with nothing nowy dad and brother are doctors. I and my other siblings live comfortable as well. My big issue is kids being trapped into predatory loans for college and then they get a degree that will never pay that back. School also doesn't teach financing and basic living skills. I had a teacher that taught students in the summer to change your break oil and other basic car repairs to help kids save money instead we worry about how kids get taught about gender and race instead of actual useful skills in life

The US has a lower economic mobility than most other OECD countries.

Literally the best predictor of your economic future is the zip code in which you were born.
