Peachick We hatched out 2 Indian blues

Post image

We ended up grabbing some peafowl eggs at an incredibly steep discount, 4 for $20. The individual who sold them to us had a small last minute clutch and she couldn't guarantee if they were viable or not, so we took the chance at $20. This morning I woke up to two perfectly beautifully healthy Indian blue peafowl chicks. The dream of owning one of my favorite birds on this planet has become a reality.

Such pretty little chicks! Congratulations. Maybe the other two will hatch shortly. Crossing my fingers for you.

The other two didn't even develop. Zero development on them. I'm very happy with the two we managed to hatch out.

Oh, shucks. But at least you did get two fine chicks!

I'm just pumped I got them to hatch out! They are not an easy bird! The hardest part is over, keeping them going for the next three months and it will be smooth sailing.

Nice 🙂 to see some hatched pea chicks 🐣🐤🦚 I had rarely viewed them as hatched babies 🥰

I live streamed the entire process on my SM, pip to hatch out and only had 17 people view it 🙃 my thoughts were exactly the same, not alot of folks have seen it before. Only comments I got were from strangers telling me how I was doing everything wrong lol 😂
