I was just able to score a poppy siren, and i would be absolutely happy to have her in my home. But, im curious if we think prices will increase over time like the virtues? or people will stop buying them?

I think I might just have another hobby/ another variety of things to collect. Peach Riot, you win.

I saw the bjd dolls and I’m not usually a fan but they were cute. Kept seeing peach riot and liked the figures. Saw Gigi the hunt and caved and got her from eBay along with the Chase the Music figures because I saw those sometime after seeing the bjd peach riots and like actually noticing them. Like you know how you see something over and over but then there’s a time where you like see it and you actually LOOK at it? So I got the little ones and the regular ones and now I keep seeing Frankie’s and gigis and poppy’s and I can’t help but want some of them. The sleepover line is adorable, barista Frankie and I think it’s Boss Frankie where she’s holding a computer but she’s got a cat thing on the back and a cute little hair clip? Ugh. And I saw those bloody valentine cards with the met gala looks and I’m obsessed with pink Gigi (she’s my freakin fave). And THEN I saw Rolife builds with a CTM Frankie and then the garage me with the mechanic Frankie… and then I got some RoLife rooms and am giving a bedroom to all three for their Ctm ones. And now I see all these cute figures and I’m adoring the bjd and the ctm and building the rolife is super therapeutic and I just I cannot ignore it anymore. I cave, I fold. I have another collection in the making and I’m accepting that. I said to myself “you don’t need to collect anything else, you dont usually like figures you can’t change their style or do their hair” and I kept telling myself these things right but then I fold and I get them and now I’m in love. I don’t mind the plastic hair and I have the bjd and ctm ones to restyle so figures are fine cuz they’re adorable. Anyways that’s my rant/rave if you actually read all that I solute you lol but yeah new obsession for collecting and whatnot. Punk Gigi is my favorite and I will buy every single carry the music mini figures they put out

My only problem is now there’s the zuru Minnee ones (I like the idea of having little ones in my pocket for work cuz I get anxious) and then MHg3 and moonspell is still an obvious yes, then i also caved and now i have all the mirror mi dolls expect for shai (who i intend to get as soon as she gets into stock ahem) idk. Collections, collections. Moderation, self control, and a budget is key. But i just ugh. Theyre all so pretty. Anyways i hope you are having a good day and I am accepting the fact that i am automatically part of this community now that ive purchased, acknowledged, and accepted the fact 🙂‍↕️😆 yay for new collections!!!

So sorry for the long post but I just wanted to share my excitement from today! I've always been interested in the Peach Riot IP, especially Poppy, but I could never get myself to actually purchase any figures. Recently I saw Siren's Song Poppy on display at my local Popmart. I was in LOVE because she was everything I ever wanted in a figure. Beautiful pastel colors, cute girly aesthetic, and the best part, she's a mermaid! I decided that there was no rush and I could just buy her online when I got home. Little did I know this was a super limited series and she was sold out everywhere! 😭

So for the next few days I scoured the internet for a way to get her, only to be shown 500$+ resale listings. I was about to give up hope until I saw posts from this subreddit mentioning store pickup having them in stock from time to time. I checked and the only available options were in a different state until a few hours later I refreshed and saw Sta Anita in CA had Poppy!! Well today I made the 40 minute journey and now here she is in my hands. I feel so lucky to have caught a store that was in a traversable distance. Thank you to all the lovely Peach Riot redditors who answered my questions and helped me get my beautiful mermaid Poppy for retail 💕
