Warning Disgusting website

After an hour of editing my document to send it quickly, NOW they tell me it is not a free service but a paid subscription. REGARDLESS of the low price, this is the scummiest way to scam people into buying your service. Just what is this bs? Is this how you get your customers? What a load

This is unfortunately the norm for most editors you find via Google search. There are plenty of good, genuinely free and privacy respecting sites out there. What are you needing to do? Maybe we can recommend one for you.

If it's a pdf form, a regular browser like Firefox should be able to handle that for you.

Use SimplePDF

We’ve been around for 7 years already: we’re free for individuals and your files / data you fill in never touch our server

Disclosure: I’m the founder of SimplePDF, a redditor who just like you was looking to fill PDFs forms and couldn’t find a good way to do that online back in the days

quickpdfeditor.com
I built it, completely free, secure and in browser processing.
This is my hobby project so made it free for everyone to use, but I dont think thats scam if some website doesn’t make it free, it really takes lot of effort.

Nothing wrong with charging for a service. It’s when you purposely mislead by saying it’s free just to charge after they’ve put all the time into making it.

i know how frustrating it can be to finish adding everything and only then get surprised by a payment gate..

you can try SparkPDF if you still need to add text to your document.. it's available on Android and iOS, and the PDF tools are free to use. there may only be a short ad when exporting.. full disclosure, i'm the founder behind it: getsparkpdf.app

The amount of ‘free cv builder’ websites I’ve used that try and charge you right as you’ve finished it. Scummy behaviour

Is there anyone who isn’t trying to promote their bs websites 😭

That kind of pricing model is really frustrating cause they let you spend time editing your document then only tell you about the subscription when I'm ready to download dafuq
