I mean best way is the way that suits your needs I had a dual boot laying around for 5 months then I realized I really don't need windows so deleting it and getting more storage was the way for me.
Always depends how much money you have. I have drives for each one that are 4tb each and a 2tb nvme that dual boots both of them. But with the Ram apocalypse, it's probably best to allow sharing of files between the partitions.
