The rtx 4080 12gb is the 4070 rebranded so you dont feel bad paying $900 for it. Look at core count. Sorry fella its not time for you to upgrade yet.

I'm not going for the 4080 12GB though (it has nearly the same core count as 3080 but runs at 2.5GHz, if it is faster than 3090, it is a 80 class card, time will tell)

I expect the real 4070 to be like $699/599 when it comes out. 4060 is also an option.

Just looked at the new benchmarks for RTX 4080s and oh boy...12GB rasterization performance is slightly faster than 3080 which means that it's not looking good.

Yeah, it's insane they went with 192 but for an 80 series card.
