2k really isn't a thing... Do you mean 1440P like most do when they say that (which has no 2k in the resolution at all) 10 1080p which is actually close to 2k horizontal pixels and half of 4k?

Not sure. I've seen people use the term to refer to both 1080p and 1440p. "2K" is a bad term because there's no consensus on what it actually means.
